Completing Santa' s slim down Holiday obstacle course |
On the day of Kira's much anticipated party we got a ton of snow. She worried no one would come. Two mom's got stuck on our road leaving, but friends did come. The first mom was pulled out by a boy shoveling the driveway of our snowbird neighbors. He was such a kind high school kid. He and I tried to push her out, and we kept slipping and sliding. He finally got a tow rope and towed her to the main road. She said she had her gas pressed to the floor, and it said she was going 100 mph, but she wasn't going anywhere. The next mom was lucky enough to get stuck while the bishop and his wife were dropping off Christmas goodies and the neighbor was next door trying to pull his wife out. So they helped get her out. After the fun the party started, and we had fun. First, they made Santa bread. They were adorable. The pictures must be on Greg's phone. Then Gaby and Mori had prepared games for them. They had a Santa's slim down obstacle course, snowman bowling, the limbo with Christmas lights while wearing the Santa suit, and a game like headbands (you wore a Santa hat that had Christmas characters, and you had to figure out who you were with yes and no questions), and Mori had them put cardboard on their head as she told them what to draw on a Christmas scene. We finished having nachos and punch and had a great time! Merry Christmas!
