Both Gaby and Mori qualified for Conference swim this year, and they both rocked it setting personal best times.  Their team was undefeated, and won by over 200 points at this meet, making them CONFERENCE CHAMPS!  We couldn't be prouder!  Gaby swam the 50 Free, 100 Back, and Relay.  Mori swam 50 Free, 100 Free and relay.  Mori killed her 50 Free (that's down and back once), and did it in 37 seconds, knocking off 7 seconds from her time!  Way to go Mo!  Gaby is nice and steady and ended up knocking off that amount of time on her 100 Back!  Way to go girls!  Gaby is ready for swim season to be over, and looking forward to trying out for the high school's production of "Grease".  They are only choosing three 7th and 8th graders total.  EEeeek!   Gaby is hoping to have the opportunity to let her hard work and dedication shine on stage again this Spring.   Mori is sad to see swim season come to a close.  She is rejoining the USA competitive team, and will continue her hard work and dedication in the pool.  She tried out and made the bronze team.  This is what she accomplished 4 X 100 Freestyle on 2:10 Break, and 4 X 100 I.M. on 2:25.00.  That's 36 laps, with no breaks. Each 100 meters being under those times (2:10 and 2:25).  We know these girls will continue to grow and develop their talents, and are so pleased with the choice people they are!
