Seth came home for Thanksgiving break with this cute project. The body of the turkey is an essay he wrote on why people should not eat turkey. His essay said people should eat "chikin", I adore kid spelling! He reported that after they finished the project, their teachers took them out to the green belt, and they picketed for their turkey. He then demonstrated his march, and his chant "Say no to Turkey! Say NO to Turkey!" It was super adorable. I wish I was present to see the swarm of 1st grade turkey picketers. What a fun thing to get the kids outside to burn off energy on a day they can't wait to end.
