Spring Break 2016

We stayed home for Spring Break.  It was glorious.  I enjoyed having the kids home for a solid week, and had very few obligations to meet.

On Saturday, Greg, Gaby, and Mori headed to the Vernal temple to do baptisms.  It was Mori's first time and was a really good experience.  While they were in Vernal the rest of us went to our neighborhood Easter egg hunt and picnic.

Monday we went to a few parks.  They have really great parks here, and we enjoy the variety.  Tuesday we hit the library, and signed up for the Spring Break reading challenge.  Kira made bank with all of her prizes.  Mori didn't do too shabby herself either.  Wednesday we had a fun day in Rock Springs.  We ate at Pancho's and had a fun time shopping at Broadway Bargains.  That afternoon I left the kids in the capable hands of their dad and went on a nice long walk with Jessica.  Thursday was super glorious, at least I thought it was.  We did as the Jews  and spring cleaned...although we weren't intent on ridding our house of yeast as much as filth.  Friday we had fun dying Easter Eggs and playing at Wilson.  Saturday the girls and I went to Salt Lake City for a fabulous day, and the boys stayed home and in the words of Seth "played video games all day and ate McDonald's".
