Our library is awesome. The kid's librarians put on a Super Hero Training Camp. Their theme for summer reading is the Hero in You! Each week they are making a part of their super hero costume. This week it was masks. Every Wednesday is library in the park. This week they had a training
camp set-up. The activities were archery shooting, capturing Flat Stanley's evil brother Stu, and knocking down a brick wall. Crawling through tunnels, a bean bag toss, a race on those bouncy balls you hop on (is there a name for those?), and a few others that are totally escaping me at the moment. The little kids had a fabulous time. Benny LOVED the tunnels. Kira and Seth were good to let him go between all of their activities. The day before Gaby and Mori had a movie marathon with pizza and popcorn at the library. The poor littles had to stay with me and go get ice cream. It was heart breaking, and pretty devastating to one who shall remain nameless.
